The Western North Carolina AIDS Project (WNCAP) expects 8,000 people throughout Western North Carolina, to dine out for this years annual fundraiser Dining Out for Life® on Thursday, April 29. Asheville is joining 53 other cities across the country and in Canada who are participating in this exciting and profitable fundraising event. Patrons in WNC can choose to “dine out” for breakfast, lunch and dinner at 100 different restaurants in Asheville, West Asheville, Black Mountain, Hendersonville, Saluda, Flat Rock, Waynesville, Maggie Valley, Weaverville, or Woodfin. All monies raised during Dining Out for Life® will help WNCAP continue with their important mission of HIV/AIDS education & outreach throughout Western North Carolina and case management services to those living with the disease.

Dining Out for Life® continues to grow in popularity across the country raising millions of dollars for AIDS organizations each year……a somber reminder that the fight against AIDS remains with us today in growing numbers. This year Emmy Award winner and author Ted Allen of Bravo’s Food Network, Queer Eye and host of the PBS series “Uncorked”, will be the International Spokesperson for the event, along with Golden Globe nominated actress, Pam Grier. Pam has had a long and storied career in both the movie and TV industry.

Here in Western North Carolina we invite you to be part of the 8,000 diners by visiting your favorite restaurant or try one of the new ones in town. There is a complete list of all participating restaurants on the WNCAP website at www.wncap.org/dofl/. All diners will be greeted by WNCAP Volunteer Ambassadors to share information about the event, answer questions about WNCAP, and provide you with information about how you can win a Caribbean Cruise for two, as well as other great prizes for participating in Dining Out for Life®.

Don’t delay….. contact your friends & family today, and make YOUR reservations at your favorite participating restaurant. For a complete list of restaurants visit www.wncap.org/dofl/.
